If the PC shows a "USB Device Not Recognized" error, try another computer or USB device, unplug and replug the USB cable, or restart the PC. 4. If the hard drive does not appear in Windows Explorer, go to Disk Management, right-click the Disk, select "Change Drive Letter and Paths," and then change or add a drive letter for the disk.
